Leafy, Lemony, Sweet Summer Adventures

My tiny summer colouring projects.

A few days are left of this summer and I just realized that I haven't even had the time to share anything new on my blog for a while. I can say that I am now a full-time illustrator and it is not always as easy as it seems to be, though I love it so much and there is nothing else in the world that I would do more than illustrate, draw, colour and sometimes play a little with my watercolours. :D

So, back to my colouring projects of this summer. I will share here an overview of all my tiny illustrations that I have coloured all summer. Tinies are such a blessing when your colouring time is so limited.

I started with the Cute Plants in Pots, a lovely collection of tiny illustrations of leafy plants, succulents and cacti. Check them out here. These are quite simple illustrations that can be coloured quickly and there is also plenty of space to create a colourful, creative background and to decorate some of the pots with patterns if you want to go even more creative. So a colouring page with lots of possibilities to play with other than just colour it in.

There are three pages in the set. Here is my first page coloured.

Second page.

And the third page. Well, that is still a work in progress. I wanted to colour the original illustration with watercolour since that illustration is in my watercolour sketchbook. This colouring page project started as a watercolour project, painting cute plants in pots. But because I liked how they turned out, I drew two more pages and transformed them into a colouring page set. :D

And because we all love tinies, I also created a five-page set of Summer tiny illustrations to colour. More specifically, a Tropical Summer themed set with underwater world scenes, tropical plants and birds and even some summer yummies, like ice cream, lemonade and a fancy cocktail. Check out the colouring page set here.

There are 24 small illustrations to colour and a page filled with tiny seashells. I only managed to colour one page and three tinies from the other pages. Here they are!

And if I mentioned ice cream, which I love more to draw and colour than eat :D, I am sharing with you one more colouring that I loved so much to colour this summer. Find the colouring page in this set.

So divine. :))

With all these being said and displayed :D I want to invite you to my Instagram @agotapop to check out my other colourings on the Summer tinies that didn't fit in this blog post or only to take a close look at details or work in progress images. There are also some process videos on colouring sand texture that you might like and find helpful, colouring a leafy background, flowers, leaves, hm... what else? I can't even remember! :)) If you are checking out my Instagram, don't forget to follow me if you haven't yet. Of course, if you like my content and find it helpful. Also, check out my illustrator account @agotapopillustration to see what I am working on, new illustrations and colouring pages that will be available on my Etsy.

Also, I have to announce that I have decided not to post new tinies on my Etsy shop anymore. The reason is that some people are already selling my illustrations on their websites without my permission. :/ This is a disaster because I wanted to gather all my tinies in a book at some point. Which I will. So I continue to draw the tinies and make them into a physical colouring book when they will all be ready. I know how much you all like tinies, so please be patient.

My Etsy shop will still be there. I will keep posting new colouring pages from time to time. So stay around!

If you are colouring and posting your colourings on social media, please use the hashtag #agotapophappycolouring so I can find them. I love so much to see your colourings on my illustrations! Thank you!

I wish you all a very lovely day!
